Small Linoleum Kitchen

This is a small linoleum kitchen installed over Multyply1/4" 5 ply birch plywood underlayment. 4 colors of Forbo Marmoleum were used to produce this geometric pattern. Because kitchens are considered wet areas due to the possibility of spills and frequent washings, all seams were heat welded with matching camouflage Marmoweld. At the request of the owner, who is an architect, all cabinets and vertical surfaces were scribed tight. The owner applied 2 coats of gloss finish to the flooring 48hours after the installation was complete. 2 small bumps in the flooring were detected at that time, which is not uncommon; they were addressed immediately to the satisfaction of the customer.
